Using the city's new branding guidelines

As part of the City of Richmond's new branding guidelines, all DEC forms, documents, letters, social media, giveaways and more must be updated with the new logo, font and colors. Existing supplies may be used, but all new items ordered should use the new branding.

Updated templates are available for many of the printed documents. Please follow the guidelines for usage. Email signatures will be coming, as well.

City kicks off Richmond Real

The city of Richmond kicked off a campaign, "Richmond Real," with an event on the observation deck of City Hall on June 8. While the city will continue to use the Bateau Man seal for official uses, the Richmond Real logo will be used for certain outreach, economic development and tourism needs.

Reaching diverse communities

DEC was able to reach out to diverse communities with 911 education at the Multicultural Festival on June 4 at Broad Rock Park and at the Summer Kick-off event at Westover Hills Community Center on June 25. Thanks to Woody Winborn, Julia Perez and Donetta McQueen, who worked with Karen Gill at these events. Please consider working at future outreach events.
