Director, Wellness Center 
                                   
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the President, the Director of the Wellness Center at Brookdale Community College provides vision, leadership, and management of the Center’s services and programs. The Director is responsible for the operations, prevention education, evaluations, personnel, budgeting, and all other functions of an integrated student wellness center. The Director is responsible for ensuring the success of the College’s approach to mental and physical health and wellness, prevention education and outreach to the college and broader Monmouth County community. The Director is also responsible for recommending policy, leading program improvement and assessment, staff development initiatives, and coordinating crisis response plans with the appropriate college departments.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in counseling, psychology, public health, social work, or a related field. Will consider bachelor’s degree in a related field and significant experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities have been acquired. Five years of relevant experience. Ability to develop positive relationships with a diverse student population. Ability to work in multi-project, fast-paced environment and meet concurrent deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively and to address problems through teamwork. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must be computer literate with ability to utilize Microsoft Office at an intermediate level and the ability to learn and utilize specific higher education programs and systems. Ability to learn and apply office practices, procedures, policies, and regulations that are essential to the position. Fluency in a second language is preferred or may be required. Ability to travel within the county and state.
 
SALARY
Annual Salary $79,362 with benefits (A5)
