ISTAT Welcomed 1,500 Attendees Back to Austin for #ISTATAmericas
Earlier this week, the ISTAT community returned to Austin, TX for #ISTATAmericas. After a challenging almost two years, the event brought ISTAT full circle from ISTAT Americas 2020, with the return of the ISTAT favorites such as Club ISTAT and the President’s Gala Reception. ISTAT at Dublin Aviation Week

IAP Exams
In its continuing response to the pandemic, the IAP held its Autumn exams at testing centers on 1-2 November. A total of 18 Appraiser Candidates sat for appraiser certification in Daytona Beach, Dublin, London, the San Francisco Bay area and the Washington, D.C., area. Two ISTAT Certified Appraisers sat for the Senior Appraiser certification exam in Bangalore.
IAP Business Meeting & ConEd Session
The Business Meeting & ConEd Session held online on 3 November was a success with 96 ISTAT Appraisers Program (IAP) members in attendance. A deep dive was conducted on the “E” in ESG, with presentations by Sean Newsum of Boeing, Toby Wells and David Waddington of Airbus, Nancy Young formerly with Airlines for America and Jeffery Wool of the Aviation Working Group. IAP Board of Governors (IBG) Vice Chair Olga Razzhivina also provided an update on the IAP’s continuing review of its value definitions.
