Hi IHCC Familia and Supporters,

Please note there are two ribbon cuttings happening this Thursday and Friday! Mark your calendar and join us as we celebrate two incredible businesses. The Gala Committee is also excited to present the sponsorship opportunities and ways businesses can grow in Irving. It's no coincidence, that the Irving Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is the 2021 United States Hispanic Small Chamber of the Year and we will go big celebrating all the superstars that have made an impact in our community.

Irving Goes Hollywood!! As you may know, our signature events aren't possible without the help of our incredible ambassadors and volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please see below.

Also don't forget to register for the upcoming events! We have a lot planned for our business community. We look forward to seeing you in-person or on zoom!

As always, stay safe and protect yourself and those around you.

Warm regards,
IHCC Team

The LATINA Style Business Series (LSBS) is the most prestigious and successful national business development conference for Latina entrepreneurs in our country. The award winning conference focuses on an array of issues affecting the Latina entrepreneur and the Latina professional workingwoman. This year they are addressing the incredible strain placed on our businesses by the COVID-19 pandemic. Over 40,000 Latina entrepreneurs and professionals have attended and benefited from participating in this exciting and informative business program. The Southwest Region LSBS will be the 152 conference produced by LATINA Style since it was launched in Los Angeles 23 years ago in 1998.

There are two components to our LSBS series. The conference takes place virtually on October 21st from 9am – 1:15pm/PST (11am – 3pm CST) and our Virtual Happy Hour on October 20th 4pm-5pm/PST (5p-7p CST). Because they've gone virtual, they are doing various regions for the conferences. The upcoming Southwest Region will include Arizona, California, New Mexico, Colorado and Texas.
Hispanic and women-owned small businesses are underrepresented among firms with substantial external financing, limiting opportunities to scale their business. In this virtual session on November 9th from noon to 1 PM, learn about the current entrepreneurial landscape and the access to capital for historically underserved entrepreneurs, and what the future looks like ahead for women and Hispanic business owners as we look forward to 2022.
