A message from our Missions Pastor
Hey Legacy Family,
Can you believe it is already summertime?! I know this can be an opportunity for a lot of us to take family vacations or stay-cations, as well as take time to rest and reflect with our family and friends. If you fit those categories, I pray for you to have a great time with your family plans.
As you make time for rest this summer, I challenge you to keep a missional posture. Keep praying that the Kingdom's message is advanced, spend time with someone who may need to hear the gospel, and take a look at our service opportunities to see if the Lord is leading you to get involved in any of the community opportunities. Not only can summer be a time for us to rest, it also provides a season for us to lean in on what God is challenging us to do. If you have any questions this summer on what you can do missionally, please let me know.
As you know we have a mission trip coming up for Heart4Mexico. Currently, we are falling short on team members. If you feel the Lord leading you to come with us to Mexico please let us know by June 14th. If you would like to hear more about the trip and what we are doing, please email me or Susan Gibson.
Great news! Our Resident Missionary Shelby VanMaanen has been sent out to Bolivia for a month on mission. Please keep her in your prayers this month because she will have an opportunity to share the Gospel in a truly dark environment. Look below to hear more about the mission she is on and her story. Please make time to listen because it will inspire you in a great way.
Once again, thank you church for reading, but don't stop here. Look below for more things happening within Missions!!
