Region 2 Youth have been busy this year! They have elected new officers. Congratulation to Acadia Toy-Palmer – Director, Jessica Henlsey – Vice Director, Maria Bustamante - Secretary and Noelle Yandell as Treasurer. They are still in need of a Secretary, so please don’t hesitate to contact Misty Odett at mistyodett@takingthereins.org if you are interested. This is a great way to meet the other youth from our Region and participate in the workings of this great group of young enthusiast!
Additionally, if there are any parents or youth wishing to learn more about our young community activities and virtual experiences, please utilize this email address and forward it to them. I would love to engage as many in our Region as possible and open our Youth Board Meetings to any youth interested in learning more. Remember, they don't have to be in the show ring to participate!

The youth are also participating in virtual horse shows. See https://www.vchorseshow.com/ see what it is all about! Very interesting! The facebook link is https://www.facebook.com/VCHorseShow. Check it out!

(with masks ;).  We wish we could be there to cheer you all on, but we will be watching and rooting for you from home. Wishing good luck to all the great exhibitors from around the Country, who “braved” this show year and attended and showed at Region 13.

The AHA Convention is going virtual this year. If you are an AHA member, you can register as a guest and watch all the happenings. There are a limited number of spots available. Please go to the AHA website for more information and costs.

The Region lost a great friend, long time breeder, owner of Ka Tal Pa Arabians and Arabian horseman, Dr. James Budd of Mason, MI. “Doc” will be deeply missed. He loved coming to the shows enjoying time with friends and family. Condolences to Ann Louise, Mike and Terri, Dalton and Wyatt, Marta and the entire Budd family.
