Greetings!
Since Spring seems about to burst out in full bloom, it’s a good thing that I finally got the last of my Christmas lights put away (don’t judge me, please!). At Mother Seton, the students are enjoying not just the promise of Spring, but a beautiful new Media Center, which you can read about in this E-News. And we have good news to share about our alums and photos of some recent alum get-togethers, so please read on.

P.S. Mark your calendar- The MSS Carnival is returning this year! It will be held every evening from Wednesday, May 31- Saturday, June 3. It's a great time to meet up with old classmates. We hope to see you there!

The Ed and Helen Reaver Family Media Center
|
|
The dedication of The Ed and Helen Reaver Family Media Center on February 3, 2023, brought together alumni from all years to celebrate this special day. The sparkling, light-filled new media center is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, a cozy reading nook for story time, and of course, thousands of books ranging from the classics to new favorites. The transformation of the old library into this new space was made possible by a gift from the Reaver children in honor of their parents, Ed and Helen.
Joe Ford (MSS 1987) spoke at the Dedication about the importance of digital literacy and how the new Media Center would have a profound impact on the future alumni of Mother Seton School. Carmel Kelly (MSS 1974), spouse of Janet Reaver Kelly, spoke about the family's gratitude to Ed and Helen for their ongoing love and support and years of dedication to MSS.
You can click HERE to see a video about the day and you can read more about the new Media Center and how it came to be in the next issue of Seton Soundings, coming in April.
