Mary Christenbury is an LKN local and has been a volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity Cornelius ReStore for more than six years.
While she has volunteered with many different organizations through the years, in Habitat, she found a perfect fit with her goal of “helping her fellow man.”
Choosing to volunteer at the Cornelius ReStore was an easy decision. She'd been shopping there since it opened and was very familiar with the store and the people there. She also likes that the money made goes toward helping to build and repair homes.
