January 6, 2021 (WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Today, the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) announced changes to its Board of Directors, including the addition of six new members committed to CSF's mission of protecting and advancing hunting, angling, recreational shooting, and trapping in the halls of government.
Joining 22 other board members, are new members: Tripper Dickson, President and CEO of Sports South; Ken Eubanks, CEO of Rather Outdoors; Evan Hafer, Chief Executive Officer, Black Rifle Coffee Company; Corey Mason, Executive Director, Dallas Safari Club; Adam Putnam, Chief Executive Officer, Ducks Unlimited; and Steve Skold, former President, Safari Club International.
In addition, CSF announced that the 2021 Board of Directors Executive Committee will consist of Chairman Simon Roosevelt, Olimpia Fund Management, Ltd; Vice-Chairman Richard Childress, President, Richard Childress Racing; Secretary Francisco Bergaz, Bekun LLC and Bervest LLC; and Treasurer Ralph Castner, Rush Creek Advisors, LLC.
"The opportunity to serve as the next Chairman of CSF's Board of Directors is a great privilege. Hunters and anglers were the founders of the American conservation movement and, with recreational shooters, remain an indispensable part of the continued success of our system of conservation. The role of CSF, as the leading voice of sportsmen and sportswomen on federal and state policy, and as organizer of one of the largest and strongest caucuses in the Capitol, cannot be overstated," said CSF Board of Directors Chairman, Simon Roosevelt. "CSF's Board includes some of the nation's most dedicated advocates for conservation and our outdoor heritage, and I am honored that my colleagues have chosen me to serve the organization in this capacity."
Board members who completed terms of service in 2020 were: Paul Babaz, Chris Dorsey, Jason Hornady, Mike Helton, Pat Murray, and Honorary Board member Lindsay Thomas.
"Each of these board members were instrumental to the success of CSF during their terms," said CSF President Jeff Crane. "We are grateful for their dedication of time and resources to CSF's mission. Without their longstanding support and dedication, CSF's achievements for sportsmen and women in recent years would not have been possible."
CSF had one of its most successful and outstanding years in 2020, thanks in part to the continued support and leadership of the board along with the continued commitment of longstanding partners.
The new year will bring new challenges but, as a leader of the conservation community, CSF is well-positioned to drive further successes on behalf of America's sportsmen and women.
