Dear Team,
I have a new development to share with you.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has reduced the coronavirus transmission category in Orange County to yellow. With this revelation, I will be lifting the face covering requirement for all County employees effective immediately. Face coverings for employees is recommended but will no longer be required inside County facilities. Employees who prefer to wear a face covering while in the workplace may to do so. I also encourage you to continue taking safety precautions such as frequent handwashing and staying home when you don’t feel well.

Thank you for all you have done to protect yourself, the community and your coworkers throughout the pandemic.
