Did You Hear?
Bishop Burton announced yesterday during his weekly Wednesdays with the Rector livestream that Bishop George Sumner has adjusted some diocesan COVID-19 restrictions beginning this Sunday, April 25. For in-person worship services that means congregational singing is back in the pews, albeit with face masks covering nose and mouth, and capacity allowance has increased to fifty percent. Also, we are opening coffee hour between services outdoors in the McKinney Ave cloister area at 10:20 am. We look forward to seeing you!

VBS VOLUNTEERS MAKE SUMMER EXCITING
We're assembling 100 summer VBS volunteers this year. Part of what makes Vacation Bible School so fun and engaging for kids is you! VBS is run entirely by volunteers, so please prayerfully consider giving of your time, big or small, this June 21-25.
Parents, do you need an incentive? If you volunteer all 5 days, you will receive a refund at the end of Vacation Bible School so your kids can attend for free!
BECOME A SUNDAY MORNING STORYTELLER!
Children & Family Ministry has an ongoing opportunity for storytellers to serve our younger disciples on Sunday mornings! The commitment is only 40 minutes of your time once a month and is a fun and rewarding way to serve in the church while building upon a biblical foundation for our kids. Email Abby Clark to learn more and to sign up »

NEED A VACCINE APPOINTMENT?
Are you currently eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, but need assistance to set up an appointment to get it? Incarnation volunteer, Kathryn Shelton, has already helped several people in our congregation get their appointment, often within a week of their request. If you need to make a vaccine appointment, or know of someone in need, and meet eligibility requirements, please email Kathryn.

Church of the Incarnation prohibits licensed carriers from carrying firearms on its premises. Although the Texas Legislature recently struck a provision in the law that stated handguns are not allowed in a place of worship, the legislature still allows the church to prohibit licensed carriers from bringing firearms into churches if oral or written notice of that prohibition is provided as it is here. If you customarily carry a gun, please leave it locked in your car before entering the church or Incarnation Academy. Thank you.
