Bishop Burton announced yesterday during his weekly Wednesdays with the Rector livestream that Bishop George Sumner has adjusted some diocesan COVID-19 restrictions beginning this Sunday, April 25. For in-person worship services that means congregational singing is back in the pews, albeit with face masks covering nose and mouth, and capacity allowance has increased to fifty percent. Also, we are opening coffee hour between services outdoors in the McKinney Ave cloister area at 10:20 am. We look forward to seeing you!

THE CHURCH THROUGH THE AGES
|
Many Christians imagine that Church history ended at St. Paul and the apostles in Acts, and then picked up in whatever denomination we worship in, or the theologian we like. However, Church history is a long and exciting narrative of interesting characters, conflict, heresies, theological developments, mission, and expansion. Each week, see how each era has shaped us as Anglicans.

Church of the Incarnation prohibits licensed carriers from carrying firearms on its premises. Although the Texas Legislature recently struck a provision in the law that stated handguns are not allowed in a place of worship, the legislature still allows the church to prohibit licensed carriers from bringing firearms into churches if oral or written notice of that prohibition is provided as it is here. If you customarily carry a gun, please leave it locked in your car before entering the church or Incarnation Academy. Thank you.
