Immanuel Family,

Christmas blessings to your family! I pray that each of you continues to see the blessing that Immanuel Lutheran Church, School and Child Care brings to your family. As we anticipate the birth of our Savior, may we all seek Him each day!

Congratulations to Mrs. Doerr on winning the Immanuel door decorating contest. Everyone has done a fantastic job getting into the Christmas spirit!

The Christmas services have been wonderful to see from the students. Special thanks to Mrs. Runingen, Mr. Vahl, Mr. Pelnar and Mr. Gress for their help in this project!

Chapel Offering:

Once again, we will be delivering care packages to new refugee families arriving in the Milwaukee area. Facing the culture shock of their first Wisconsin winter, these families have many challenges. The families are sponsored by the Lutheran Social Services, but their needs go beyond what LSS can support. Through the generous support of Immanuel Lutheran Church and School we have helped meet the needs of many refugee families.

Beginning November 18th, our current mission will be “Christmas Care Packages” which help our refugee families.  Immanuel Lutheran School is asking for donations of toiletries from the list below to fill our packages. You may bring the item to school and it will be put in the Wednesday Chapel Offering for each class. Monetary donations will also be collected during this time to support this mission. Donations will be collected through December 18th. Thank you for your generosity and support!

Children’s Christmas Services:

Christmas is right around the corner! With the season we are in, our services will look different than the past. We will still have three different services, the times and dates are listed below.

Songs will be sung and recorded with each grade level together only. Students will wear a mask, and be distanced as much as possible in the Church. When grade levels are done recording their songs, the next grade level will come in and record theirs.

Immanuel will make a video of this service and send it out to the families. Please feel free to share this service with your family members!
