Chapel Offering:
Once again, we will be delivering care packages to new refugee families arriving in the Milwaukee area. Facing the culture shock of their first Wisconsin winter, these families have many challenges. The families are sponsored by the Lutheran Social Services, but their needs go beyond what LSS can support. Through the generous support of Immanuel Lutheran Church and School we have helped meet the needs of many refugee families.
Beginning November 18th, our current mission will be “Christmas Care Packages” which help our refugee families. Immanuel Lutheran School is asking for donations of toiletries from the list below to fill our packages. You may bring the item to school and it will be put in the Wednesday Chapel Offering for each class. Monetary donations will also be collected during this time to support this mission. Donations will be collected through December 18th. Thank you for your generosity and support!
