The City is conducting a survey to collect input on how to allocate approximately $400 million coming to the City through the American Rescue Plan. The City needs to hear from you on how best to spend it. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey here.

Temporary Change In Traffic Pattern in Old Sixth Ward |

Demolition of the old 2100 Memorial Senior Living Facility is now underway. In order to accommodate the demolition process, beginning November 1, 2021, North Memorial Way will become one-way westbound from Henderson continuing around the corner to Hemphill and State Street. This traffic pattern will be in effect during the demolition phase, which is expected to be complete by the end of February 2022. Construction of the new replacement senior living facility will then follow. |

Houston Public Works has extended the survey to offer free water testing for qualified homes that may have lead & copper pipes.
Lead and copper enter drinking water primarily through plumbing materials. Exposure to lead & copper may cause health problems.
This survey should take no more than two minutes and will determine if customers qualify for free lead & water testing.
