Here are the highlights of our recent activity online. Not all everything is included due to timeliness. If an advertised event already took place, we've left it off.
Job Corps Online Open House
FYI: From the Idaho Job Corps:

Idaho Job Corps serves state residents by connecting them to training and employment. It operates through the Idaho Department of Labor, which has partnered with colleges throughout the state to facilitate the program.

The organization's Eastern Idaho office will offer online open house meetings about the program at https://zoom.us/j/94350295056 on Dec. 4, 11, and 18 from 10 a.m. to noon. In each session, Workforce Coordinator Robert Ballinger will share information about the program and its benefits, outline eligibility requirements, and answer questions.

Those who are not able to attend one of these sessions or who would prefer a more specialized or individual setting are welcome to contact him at robert.ballinger@cei.edu or 208.535.5326.

A direct and compelling headline
Thanks to the Office of Special Education and Idaho's amazing special education teams at the State Department of Education, our very own Sarah Tueller was able to share in the celebration of how the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) has impacted her son's education since birth.

Click the link below or the YouTube link at the bottom of this story to see the video.
Check out the link below for more inspiring stories and the history of how IDEA came to be and has evolved over the past 45 years. Giving all students the opportunity to learn and participate with their same-aged peers through inclusive education, as much as possible, and most importantly, access their American right to a free and appropriate public education.
