Bucky's BHS Home for the Holidays
Donate Gift Cards at Library Curbside Pickup
3-5 p.m. Thursday Nov. 12 | 2-4 p.m. Nov. 24-25
Bucky’s Home for the Holidays is a program run in partnership with the Teen Health Center, Ballard High School PTSA, and the Ballard Cares Program.

Sponsored by the Ballard High School PTSA, Bucky’s Home for the Holidays is intended to assist school families who have been severely impacted by COVID-19 and may not have the financial stability to enjoy the holiday season as much as many BHS families.

Here’s how Bucky’s Home for the Holidays works:
The Ballard High School PTSA is kindly asking for your gift card donations! Families and staff are asked to purchase and donate a variety of gift cards to Fred Meyer, Target, Starbucks, Safeway and other local businesses in the amount of $10 or more.

This year, due to the school closure, gift cards should be brought to the Library Curbside Pickups (from 3-5 p.m. Nov. 12 and 2-4 p.m. on Nov. 24-25) at the school's North Parking Lot. We will have a PTSA table and representative there to collect your gift cards.

Gift cards will be distributed equitably in festive Bucky Giftbags and will be handed out to families in December. All information about the families will remain anonymous to the community except for a few program leads.

For more information, contact BHS PTSA Families and Community Engagement (FACE) Coordinator Brenda Savage at bsavagemama@gmail.com or Academic Intervention Specialist Lisa Coacher at ljcoacher@seattleschools.org.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION!
