COVID-19 Vaccine Update
April 23, 2021

How is New Hampshire Doing?

Nearly 59% of NH residents have received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 25% of NH residents are fully vaccinated. How does that compare to other states? According to Becker's Hospital Review, NH ranks 18th among all states, for the percentage of our population vaccinated. (Some of our neighbors are doing better: Maine is #1, Vermont #4 and Massachusetts is #10).

Here's some other NH stats as of 4/23/21

In a statement last week, Governor Sununu announced the expiration of NH's mask mandate, while reiterating that NH's businesses, cities and towns can continue enforcing mask requirements, saying, "It is important to note that this mandate going away will not limit or prevent the ability of private businesses and local cities and towns from requiring masks."

Please Note:
For the safety of our patients, visitors
and employees, everyone entering
Monadnock Community Hospital's
campus or off-site Practices
will continue to be required
to wear a face mask.
No exceptions.

The CDC continues to recommend that people wear masks in public settings, at events and gatherings, and anywhere they will be around other people.

MCH supports the decisions of area towns and local businesses who choose to continue mandating masks.
