Transgender Day of Visibility

Transgender Day of Visibility is an international event on Friday, March 31 dedicated to recognizing the resilience and accomplishments of the transgender community. It also provides an opportunity for trans and non-binary people to feel seen through positive and realistic representation – and for allies to learn more about how they can stand in solidarity

How to Observe Transgender Day of Visibility

  1. Read: Take time to read stories of trans people - you’ll find a long list of available stories and resources online or including at places like your local public library.
  2. Share: Use social media platforms to increase awareness of how transgender people have left a notable mark on the world. Share articles, and statistics, and celebrate your favorite transgender-centric achievement in history with the hashtag #TransgenderDayOfVisibility.
