Celebrate Earth Day the MoVal Way

Earth Day is right around the corner, and we're planning a celebration to remember!


Join us on Saturday, April 22, from 9 am to 1 pm at the Community Demonstration Garden for a free and fun day featuring raffles, workshops, garden tours, youth crafts, tree giveaways, and other exciting and earth-friendly activities!


The Community Demonstration Garden is located at 14075 Frederick Street, behind the Conference & Recreation Center.

City Teams Up With UCR for Entrepreneurship Program

The City of Moreno Valley is partnering up with the University of California, Riverside, to provide entrepreneurial workshops and services to the Moreno Valley community.

 

UC Riverside’s Office of Technology Partnerships and staff from the Entrepreneurial Proof of Concept and Innovation Center (EPIC) program will provide entrepreneurial and business-related technical assistance and workshops to Moreno Valley residents at the City’s Business and Employment Resource Center (BERC).


Sessions will be held in person and via Zoom. Quarterly workshops will also be held to help establish local entrepreneurs in Moreno Valley.

Drop Off Your Household & Electronic Waste at the Moreno Valley City Yard

Do you have any hazardous or electronic waste piling up in your cabinets or garage? We’ll take it off your hands!


Please stop by our free Household Hazardous and Electronic Waste collection event on Saturday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the City Corporate Yard, located at 15670 Perris Boulevard.


Residents are limited to 125 pounds or 15 gallons of waste per car, per trip. Items not accepted include tires, explosives, radioactive waste, leaking containers, commercial waste, and waste from non-profit organizations.

A Visit to the Sunnymead Ranch Trail

Spring is finally here, and there's no better way to enjoy the Spring season than to take a stroll on one of Moreno Valley's beautiful trails.


Sunnymead Ranch Trail is a multi-purpose trail that stretches over five acres. This trail is perfect for pedestrians and equestrians and features a horse staging area, horse drinkers, a hitching post, picnic tables, and more.

Pet of the Week: Ralph

Our Pet of the Week is Ralph, an incredible four-year-old German Shepherd. He is one of the friendliest dogs you will ever see. Ralph falls in love with everyone he meets. All Ralph needs is to find a family that can love him forever.
