The handout is available now so that you may prepare in advance. The first 15 minutes are for fellowship, followed by 45 minutes of discussion of the music topic. Ram Pantry - VCU's Food Bank Needs YOU About 10 years ago GHTC, with the help of past ECM member Grant Mansfield, helped to form the Food Bank on campus known as Ram Pantry. With COVID-19 the Ram Pantry has had a huge increase in demand for food from students. There are three ways that you can donate to help feed students: Email or call Ram Pantry directly at 804-828-4514 to make a donation. Drop off the items at GHTC. Please make arrangements with Peter Knecht to make sure he or Roland will be in the building. Drop off items at Mother Kim’s home.  The items needed can be found here. At this time only food donations are being accepted, no gift cards or cash donations. Thank you!

The Parables of Jesus - Bible Study Starts Again on September 30 at 7:00 p.m. Bible Study will continue via Zoom on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m, starting September 30 and ending on November 18. Advent - Revolutionary Love  This Advent season we're reflecting on contemporary Revolutionary Love. Mo. Kim is putting together book/meditation love packages for ECM at VCU and would love to share the wealth with our GHTC congregation! The packages include bi-weekly “gifts” that will be opened over the course of Advent and Christmas. The gifts will correspond with Valarie Kaur’s book, See No Stranger: A Memoir and Manifesto of Revolutionary Love. If you would like to receive a love package please contact Mo. Kim directly. Books/packages will be distributed on November 18th.

Regathering Plan Approved - Ushers Needed! Our plan for regathering for in-person worship has been approved. Ushers will play an important role in keeping you keep safe and helping you follow our new procedures. Please let Bill Perkins know if you are willing to help. Training will be provided. We still need to wait until the health markers for the Richmond area meet the safety criteria before we can execute our plan. Once we have a date for returning to in-person worship we will provide a video introduction to all of the new policies and procedures meant to keep you safe. Staff continue to work remotely and we will keep you updated through the church website.

Red Door Roadside Continues Every Friday we continue to feed hungry people with nutritious brown bag lunches. Although our volunteer needs have changed, we still need YOU to help us! Contact Kim Reinholz to assist in this ministry.
