Now is the time to prepare so you can once again help your small business clients that will be relying on PPP2 funds for their survival.

We encourage you to start conversations with clients and other small business owners now to determine if they meet the proposed criteria for the next round of funding. Gather relevant 2020 documents from clients and be ready to reach out to them as soon as funds are approved.

You should also familiarize yourself with AICPA's collection of PPP tools and resources, including the CPA Business Funding Portal located at CPALoanPortal.com. The tool provides faster, more efficient loan application processing that aligns with the latest guidance from Treasury.

Get a Head Start on 2021 CPE

January 6, 8-11:30am (MT)
Presented by Ed Zollars -

Congress has yet again passed new legislation at year-end.

This time creating a brand new version of the Paycheck Protection Program loans, qualifying some businesses to obtain a second forgivable loan. As well, another set of checks will be sent out to qualifying taxpayers under the recovery rebate program, though this time in a reduced amount.

Attend this course to get up to speed on what has changed so you can advise clients on the impact of these issues, as well as ready yourself for handling these issues on 2020 income tax returns.

January 14 & 15

This 2-day course is designed for new staff, para-professionals, or any "rusty" preparers returning to the work force.

The course is a comprehensive study of individual taxation, with an introduction to C corporation and S corporation preparation issues. Reference manual contains many examples and cases to illustrate the most important points new preparers need to be aware of for tax returns.

This is a great way for non professional staff ready for tax season. As a member - your staff are also eligible for member price on this event!
