I hope you all had a frightfully fun Halloween and meaningful Día de los Muertos for those who celebrate! November is here and with it comes shorter days and colder nights. I sincerely hope you all stay safe and healthy and please remember to make use of our many available resources to help get you through the home stretch successfully.
November is also a season to focus on gratitude and appreciation. I’m so thankful for you, our Beach students. Your energy and passion are incredibly inspiring. I’m also indebted to my division team for all they do to support so many students every single day. Please take a moment and think of a CSULB faculty or staff member (or many!) who has impacted you in a positive way and recognize them with a free Faculty & Staff Thank You Gram. You just write the note and we’ll deliver it for you along with a small token of appreciation. Please help us recognize those who you think are doing a great job supporting your success.
With class registration around the corner, you might have questions about the Spring 2022 semester. Join Associated Students, Inc. for a Virtual Student COVID-19 Q&A on November 5th from 2-3pm.
Be well and stay safe,
Beth Lesen, Ph.D.
Vice President of Student Affairs
