Twitter Adds Revue Newsletter Subscription Cards In Tweets
This will be a welcome addition for Revue newsletter creators. Today, Twitter has unveiled a new Revue newsletter subscription card that will enable newsletter sign-up direct from tweets in-stream.

The DL: Breaking News - Revue creators will now have the ability to share a link to their newsletter sign-ups in a tweet! This provides more options to drive subscribers from the platform. It also serves as a more extensive push to provide more monetization options for creators in the platform.

Currently, this feature is only available on desktops and mobile sites, with additions to IOS and Android coming in the near future. We will continue to monitor these changes and keep you updated in real-time.
Spotify's Advertising Business Is Booming Thanks To Podcasts
Investors had been waiting for Spotify’s multibillion dollar investment in podcasting and ad tech to pay off.

The DL: Starting in 2018, Spotify rolled out podcasts as a feature on their app and since its inception, investors have not been happy with this decision. Spotify’s jump to podcasts has finally started to pay off, with a 75% increase in advertising sales for the third quarter and a $1.16 billion projection for advertising sales alone. Podcasting still seems to be a drag on profit margins, but they estimate that this feature will eventually become 20% of their total sales. The company urges the investors to be patient, as they’ve already seen a growth of 10% in their shares since last December.
Supply Chain Issues Threaten Ad Spending Comeback This Holiday Season
Brands ranging from toymakers to automakers are pulling back ad spending amid inventory shortages, complicating holiday campaigns.

The DL: We have all witnessed the supply chain issues with retailers. Knowing that the holiday season is coming up, advertisers are holding back or adjusting to flexible advertising. Some brands are slashing their traditional media budgets in fear that their products won’t be on shelves for consumers to purchase. Other marketers are increasing digital spending to allow for more flexibility if inventory arrives. Some of this budget is forced to be spent on increased shipping costs from overseas, which is at a premium. This premium even means an increased cost to the consumer and places a fear that if customers don’t shop early, they may not complete shopping before the holiday season; forcing a see now, buy now mentality. Flexibility in advertising is the key to this holiday season allowing for the ebbs and flows of the supply chain issues.
Instagram Makes Links In Stories Available To All Accounts
Instagram has announced that links are now being made available in Instagram Stories for all users, not just those with 10k followers or verified accounts.

The DL: Earlier this week, Instagram has announced that they will be allowing anyone on Instagram (regardless of verification status and follower count) to add clickable links in their story posts! This is crucial for business owners that aren’t verified and/or haven’t reached 10,000 followers on the platform. This new feature increases the chances of your followers clicking on your links because it removes the extra steps of tapping on your username just to click the “link in bio” which will drive more website traffic and could even generate more sales! Check out this article to learn more about how to add links to your Instagram Stories.
LinkedIn Adds New Tools For Company Pages, Including Workplace Flexibility Listings And Competitor Tracking
With the post-pandemic recovery now starting to take shape, many people are seeking new jobs, and many businesses are looking to bring on new employees as they re-open and plan for a brighter future ahead.

The DL: With the recovery from the recession starting to take shape, many businesses are looking to hire new employees. This is an opportunity for LinkedIn, which has launched new features designed to help businesses get the most out of their company pages. LinkedIn has added a new feature called the Primary Workplace, which will allow businesses to list their flexible working conditions in the top portion of their on-page displays. It will also help them attract a wider pool of candidates amid the ongoing shift to WFH.

LinkedIn launched its My Company tools in February. These tools allow employees to communicate with each other and simply organize their content. They’ll notify employees when new content is added to the platform, and they’ll also know how to help amplify their messages. The My Company Tab also shows a dynamic view of the content that others are sharing.

Much like Facebook’s Pages To Watch, LinkedIn’s Performance Benchmarks give you a basic comparison between how other Pages are performing on the platform. But, like Facebook, they only provide basic metrics as a comparison, so it could be more of a disincentive way to reaching goals.

This new feature will give you a lot of context around your results, and how they compare to others in your industry. It will also help you measure and improve your engagement rate. Will you be checking out this new feature?
