Jesus summons you today

Heavenly Father

Thank you for this new day. We dedicate this day to you. Make us fruitful today. Make us busy in doing good works for others, but make us find quality time with you alone. For we can never be good and holy without you. Make us grow in love of you and our neighbor today. Make us rich in good works.

Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

St. Thomas of Villanova, pray for us.

Fr. Edgar Benedi-an, OSM

Please join us for our second annual week of service as we celebrate our 97th Anniversary.
Please email events@thegrotto.org with any questions.

Day Three

Wednesday, Sept. 22

Care and love for all creation

Inspiration: St. Francis of Assisi

Partners: Your local pet shelters

Inspired by St. Francis of Assisi and his care and love for animals, we encourage you to help a local animal shelter, or the shelter where you first met your furry friend. Donations of supplies help keep shelters running and lower overhead costs.

Check out the wish lists for some local shelters:

Oregon Humane Society Wish List

Humane Society for Southwest Washington Wish List

Bonnie L. Hayes Animal Shelter Wish List

The items on these lists make a big difference in day-to-day operations. The food, toys, and other supplies keep the animals happy and healthy before adoption.
