"To Build a Church"
We Worship this Sunday with the
Gloucester Unitarian Universalist Church
Reverend Janet Parsons
|
Worship with us on Zoom at 10:00am!
A warm welcome to our friends from the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn! Our theme this month is Stories, and we are emphasizing creation stories and myths. Since May 15 is the 60th anniversary of the first General Assembly of the brand new UUA, we will take a look back at the consolidation of the Unitarians and the Universalists and the goal of creating a new religious tradition. Creation stories help form the foundations of all religions. What are some of our Unitarian and Universalist stories?
Join us on Zoom at 10:00 a.m., and please stay for our virtual coffee hour in breakout rooms immediately following the service.

Silent Auction for ECCO
May 16-May 23
We are holding a week-long online auction (May 16 - May 23) to raise funds for a community organizer position at ECCO (Essex County Community Organization). We have many items including gift cards to local businesses, personalized workout sessions, and fresh Lynn backyard eggs, from Babs, of course.
Many of you answered our call for donations. Who else would like to donate? Gift card to a favorite local business? something fun, something yummy, something beautiful?
The Social Justice Ministry Team (SJMT) meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Our next meeting is Tuesday, May 11 at 7:00pm. Contact the chairs for the Zoom link if you would like to attend (use [email protected]).
