WHAT'S HAPPENING
ONLINE RESOURCES FOR SUNDAY

Sunday, Online

If you are not attending on Sunday and would like to find online worship and resources you can find many options and links on our website

Included on that page you'll find a video recording of our Service at St John's. The video of our morning Eucharist Service is usually available later in the day on Sundays.

If you can't attend, or missed church last week, or would just like to watch it again, the recordings are available each week on our website and on our Youtube Channel.
FOR THE KIDS

Have you found good online Church resources for kids during these unusual times? I've found some fun stuff on the websites of my two favourite Cathedrals

A BOOK STUDY

Wednesdays
November 4th to December 2nd,
7- 8.30 pm, via Zoom!

What to do on Wednesday evenings in November? Our interim priest, Pat Johnston, has offered to lead a Book Study for us. Author NT Wright served as the Bishop of Durham, and now teaches New Testament at Oxford. His writing is easily accessible and thought-provoking.

The little book we will read together is called God and the Pandemic, written by Wright earlier this year.

Please indicate your interest by email to the Office office@stjohnsottawa.ca or by phoning. Please register before November 1st.

You'll need the book beforehand
update: the book is now available at our local bookshop, Perfect Books on Elgin.

You may also find copies at a library or even on line www.chapters.indigo.ca
