From the East
Greetings from the East my brothers!!!
I hope that as of the publication of this Trestleboard every one of the Brethren and their families are fine and enjoying great health. Thanksgiving is coming and, we are a few weeks before Christmas.
Thanksgiving always gives us time to be thankful and look for blessings of life, and I hope all brothers consider yourselves blessed by your family, friends, health, job, and a home to live. It’s time for reflection, time to thank God for everything He does for us. Time to thank your wife, your kids, and your family.
October was a great month, and much was accomplished at the lodge. We drew the raffle and the winners were Brs\Paul Izzo and Cesar Gama.
At our first stated communication, we have our M\W\ Jeff Foster and The Grand Line visiting us. We presented Br\ Vlad Mitton with his Gold Card, Br\ Brad McDowell his Silver card, W\Craig and W\Hatcher their 25yr Mason Certificates, and W\ Clawson Peacock his 40y mason certificate. The lodge was packed.
In the same meeting, we had W\ Jeff Bataglia working on the masonic education presenting “The 47th problem of Euclid”.
Another great accomplishment in our lodge was our First Table Lodge on Oct 25th. We sold out all tickets and we had 60 plus attendees. I would like to thank our Keynote Speaker R\W\Tali Atala -33rd Past Grand Monarch of the Grottoes of North America for delivering the speech that night. We had indeed a great night, great food and great fellowship, and brotherly love. Thanks to all the brothers who helped this event to happen and thanks to all brothers who attended the Table Lodge.
We also are planning to confer an EA Degree and a FC Degree. Pay attention in our social media about the dates.
The planning for the Fall Festival is going full throttle. Br\McGowan is working hard on that. We are still in need for the festival. Please get the information out to anyone and everyone you know and have them contact Brother Ken or Karen.
Finally, I would like to ask the Brethren to please continue to pray for the sick and needy.
“Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.”
Fraternally,
Luis Oliveira, Worshipful Master

From the South
Greetings From The South
I hope that as of the publication of this Trestleboard everyone of the Brothers and their families are fine and enjoying great health.
We continue to receive inquiries from persons interested in joining our fraternity. When they visit our lodge please take the time to welcome them and make them feel at home. Encourage them to bring their families on our dinner nights so that they can witness firsthand how Masons love one another.
I am also grateful for all of the suggestions I continue to receive regarding meals, please keep them coming. Our next meal Nov. 4th TBD. Brother McDowell and Brother Pedro spend a lot of time and effort in the preparation of our meals and I thank them for their kind service and dedication.
I would like to remind the brethren that we rely on the generosity of our members in providing meals and ask for a brother to sponsor the meal for any month they choose.
I would like to thank W. Jeff Pataglia of Orlando #69 for his exceptional Masonic presentation on the 47th problem of Euclid. Ref# GL 207. Please let me know if you would like us to invite any guest speakers to our lodge to make presentations.
Finally, although there is always something to be thankful for, I would like to take a moment to send a note this month to let you all know how thankful I am for our brotherhood and unity. May the warmth of the season fill your home with joy and peace. Wishing you and your loved ones a happy and safe Thanksgiving.
Brethren, please continue to pray for the sick and needy especially during this holiday season!
See you at the Lodge!
Brothers, please remember to stay safe! See you at the lodge!

Chaplain's Message
Brothers, in Genesis 8:10- 16, we read, “seven days later, Noah released the dove again. This time, toward evening, the bird returned to him with a fresh olive leaf in its beak. Noah now knew that the water was almost gone. A week later, he released the dove again, and this time it did not come back… Noah lifted back the cover to look. The water was drying up. Two more months went by, and at last the earth was dry! Then God said to Noah, ‘leave the boat, all of you.’”
What incredible patience and devotion to the Lord that Noah displayed after the dove dis not return Noah waited upon the Lord before he did anything to get off the boat! He waited two more months until the Lord commanded him to leave the boat. One can only imagine the pressure that he felt to leave the boat as some as possible, not only his own desire but also that of his family. He did not take the situation into his own hands yet let it rest in the hands of the Lord.
A lesson from these verses from Genesis is that we must have faith and trust in God, trusting that His will, will be done in His own time. We must remain in faith that He will love and protect us and lead us where He wants us to go, when He wants us to be there.
Let us pray, Father give us the strength of faith to always trust in You, let my life be led by the spirit. Hold us close and guide us even if we ignore You. Grant us a deep love for You that we may rest in the assurance of Your love. Amen

From the Secretary
Greetings Brothers,
I hope that you are all doing well. We have collected approximately 95% of our dues payments for 2021 through the end of October. For those that are still outstanding, I hope that you will be able to pay them soon so that you are not suspended for non-payment of dues. If you are having financial difficulty, please contact me so that we can make payment arrangements or coordinate for relief if needed. We will be sending out late dues notices to those few remaining. Thank you for your quick attention to this matter. I will be receiving the new dues notices from Grand Lodge soon for 2022 year. I will send those out as soon as we receive them.

Past Master's Corner
My Brothers,
I have the honor this month of writing the Past Master's Corner Article.
As many of you may know, I’m very interested in learning new ideas about Masonry and finding ancient secrets to our craft. One of the greatest things I have found from being a Mason for over 10 years, is to learn to check your ego. Not to, necessarily “put it away” but to learn to check in on it from time to time. Make sure decisions are not made from this place but from a just and upright place. A place that has been thought about and reflected upon. One of our greatest attributes as Masons is being able to guide and help others. We need to make sure we ask ourselves, what reason are we doing these actions? That goes for any action in your life. This is something I would ask all Masons to reflect on.
Lastly, I would say, keep an eye out for your brothers. We do lots of charity work, we help around the community, but remember some brothers are struggling with their own issues. If you see someone acting out of character, seems a little off, or asks to talk, make sure you are there for that brother. Maybe you haven’t seen them at lodge in a while. Maybe they just need a call. You would be surprised by how much a simple phone call with a “How ya doin?” can do for someone.
Lastly, my brothers, be of one mind. Help those in need, more especially the faithful.
May happiness be with you and your family.
Fraternally,
W:.Dwayne Adams
