BEING PRO-LIFE IS NOT ENOUGH! It's great to say we're pro-life, wear the T-shirts and have the bumper sticker. Going to rallies makes all of us feel better, but has anything changed since Roe v. Wade? What have our Conservative Republicans done for the unborn since being in office?
Planned Parenthood’s overall government funding during 2016, the last year of the Obama administration, was $554.6 million. Last year, before losing Title X money, it took in $616.8 million.

Out of four pro-life commitments President Trump made in a letter to pro-lifers during the 2016 campaign, only one has been fulfilled. But this is not necessarily his fault.

The Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act passed the House, but fell 9 votes short in Republican-controlled Senate.

The Defund Planned Parenthood proposal never received a vote in the then-GOP-controlled House.

The Hyde Amendment which would have been made a permanent law, preventing taxpayer-funded abortions, passed the House but there was no vote in GOP Senate.

The Trump administration has prosecuted Native Americans for selling eagle body parts, yet Planned Parenthood still peddles human baby body parts.

Republican Rep. Jeff Leach of Dallas killed an Abortion Abolition bill brought up last year.

Being pro-life is simply a way for politicians to get elected without doing anything.

Even if Roe v. Wade was overturned, abortion would still be legal at the state level.

Christian, it is our responsibility to get informed to help save the lives of “the least of these.”

The total abolition of abortion is the only way.

If you live in the area, please go to the Abolish Abortion in Texas conference this weekend, even if you go for only a few sessions. I can't emphasize enough that it is indeed our responsibility to do more than we are doing.

Proverbs 24:11-12: Rescue those being led away to death,
and restrain those stumbling toward the slaughter.
If you say, “Behold, we did not know about this,”
does not He who weighs hearts consider it?
Does not the One who guards your life know?
Will He not repay a man according to his deeds?

Sunday Sermon: "Rejoice Despite the Days" Philippians 4:4-9

There’s a lot that can rob our joy: From the coronavirus to the still-occurring riots and unrest in our country. There’s an ever-present threat to our country, the media lies daily, there’s still a mask mandate, and to make matters worse, a fly landed on our Vice President’s head! We need to rejoice in the Lord. Always! (30 min.)
PRAY FOR AMERICA

Father, we come before You to claim Your promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14:

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

We are Your people, called by Your name. Thank You for hearing our prayers and moving by Your Spirit in our land. There are earthquakes, floods, natural disasters and violence occurring. People's hearts are failing them because of fear.

Lord, Your Son, Jesus, spoke of discerning the signs of the times. With the Holy Spirit as our Helper, we are watching and praying.

We desire to humble ourselves before You, asking that a spirit of humility be released in us. Thank You for quiet and meek spirits, for we know that the meek shall inherit the earth.

Search us, O God, and know our hearts; try us, and know our thoughts today. See if there be any wicked way in us, and lead us in the way everlasting.

Forgive us our sins of judging inappropriately, complaining about, and criticizing our leaders. Cleanse us with hyssop, and we will be clean; wash us, and we will be whiter than snow. Touch our lips with coals from Your altar that we may pray prayers that avail much for all men and women everywhere.

Lord, we desire to release rivers of living water for the healing of the nations. (From "Prayers That Avail Much")
