LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
As our students return for the spring semester, it is important to note that the faculty was extremely busy at the end of last semester and during the break. The end of the year and the beginning of the next are busy times in the academic community and your faculty members have been achieving great success. Amongst the group they had three peer review papers accepted, one journal article approved, two book chapters submitted, two significant grants received, participated in three final reviews at other academic institutions, delivered one keynote address at a conference and were named a finalist in two design competitions. In addition, one of our faculty members will be receiving an award from the National CELA organization. Everyone of the faculty contributed more than one item to this impressive list. More information on these accomplishments will be announced in future college publications. For a small faculty this is beyond impressive. It is also important to note that many of these accomplishments feature work for the students in our program. I am sure the faculty would be happy to share some insight about their work when time permits. Everyone should be extremely proud of these results, as it speaks loudly about the quality of our faculty and students. We look forward to all the great results in the new semester. Congratulations to everyone. -Mark Hoistad
