Rest, Reflection and Gratitude
Principal Shaw and family (Liz, Henry, and Bartlet) at CEC's Trunk or Treat
Dear CEC Families,
I hope this message finds you and your family healthy and starting to enjoy a much deserved ten day break. Over this break please;
- Make sure that you get lots of rest and that you come back to school ready to finish the semester strong.
- Take time to reflect on what has gone well so far this semester and what areas you might want to focus on as we finish out the semester.
- Express gratitude. To your family, friends, and teachers. Gratitude is the one gift that doesn't cost anything and gives the giver as much as the receiver.
Your Principal,
-Shaw

Invite someone to our Open House on December 02
We are excited to host an Open House, in-person this year on Thursday, December 2nd from 5:30-7:30 PM. Open House is an opportunity for current and prospective students/families to come and learn more about our school academics, culture and unique programming. In addition, prospective families will learn how to apply for a seat at CEC.
CEC is part of the DPS SchoolChoice process. A process where students must apply and select their top schools within the SchoolChoice window. Based on the student's selections and each school’s admissions priorities and available space, they are randomly assigned a lottery number that will determine at which school they are awarded a seat. Round 1 begins January 14-February 15, 2022.
Don't miss your chance for an opportunity to attend CEC, spots fill up fast. Come learn more at Open House!
