S.O.S (Spring Outdoor Social) - Been inside too long? Join us in the parking lot at Lord of Life for a Spring Fling! Enjoy food and friends Saturday, May 15 with Holy Smokes BBQ. The fun starts at 5pm!
Register online to pre-order from Holy Smoke BBQ and pay them directly at the event. They will donate a portion of the proceeds to Lord of Life. The church will provide non-alcoholic beverage options and a dessert. BYOB. Kona Ice will also be there from 5-6 pm. Proceeds benefit the Facilities or Ministries Endowment Funds. If you can’t attend but want to support these ministries you can donate here.

Safe Sanctuary Training
Safe Sanctuary training is required every 2 years for anyone 16 and older who works with children or at-risk groups at Lord of Life. This includes all Church Council members, VBS and Day Camp volunteers, Sunday School teachers, Nursery staff and Welcome Desk volunteers. All Lord of Life volunteers must receive the training. Lord of Life will host families in danger of homelessness in Family Promise of Montgomery County’s 90-day program in the building from June 27-July 4. Training for leaders begins on May 19 th, and are invited to the dedication to their new building on June 3 rd. If interested in attending or volunteering as hosts to entertain families in the evening, overnight hosts to be on campus in case of emergencies, and groups to make dinners, please email jmckenna@lordoflifeonline.org or call 281-367-7016.

Red Cross Training - In the aftermath of disasters many of us want to help but don’t know how. You can be trained and ready BEFORE disaster strikes! Our neighbor, Sts Simon and Jude Catholic Church, operates an emergency shelter for the Red Cross and we partner with them in a disaster. Hurricane season is upon us! If you would like to be trained to help in a community crisis, please email Jenny by Saturday, May 29th. They need help with sign-in, kitchen, pet care, child care, laundry, the management team, and more.

Join us for a fun week at Lord of Life Lutheran Church! Day Camp runs from 9am-3:30pm daily, July 19-23, 2021. We will sing, dance, explore nature, play games and learn more about God’s love for us. This camp is for children who are completing Kindergarten through 5th grade this summer. Cost is $75/child, scholarships available
