In an unprecedented year, you're bound to have an unprecedented good time!
Orange Zone Alert for RCTV and WXIR
Due to the fact that Rochester has entered the orange zone for COVID, RCTV and WXIR will be forced to close to the public temporarily.
This means we are not allowed to welcome Members, Producers, students or guests into the facility. Producers wishing to drop off TV shows may come through the gate and leave the shows in the mailbox in front of the building. As always, both RCTV and 100.9 WXIR will remain on the air and we will continue to broadcast regular programming.
We will be evaluating the situation over the weekend, and based on guidance from the County and State, we will determine our best course of action for next week and the upcoming weeks.
We know this is as much of a disappointment to all of you as it is to us, and we thank you for your understanding in these difficult times. We will be back in touch to let you know how we will be handling in-person operations and classes.
Thanks to All Who Helped Us Reach $13,682 for the Friends of Frederick Douglass GoFundMe Campaign
Our heartfelt thanks goes to the close to 50 individuals who donated to our Friends of Frederick Douglass campaign, to help us replace the Frederick Douglass statue that was vandalized this past spring, and to help create a fund for the refurbishment and ongoing care of the 13 statues that make up the Douglass Tour.
