This year’s theme, “Feel the Sunshine,” features a 23-day run of concerts, rides, unique fair food, competitions, a petting zoo, baby pigs at Centennial Farm, the return of the demolition derby at the Action Sports Arena, shopping, and more. OC Fair has a major economic impact on the local economy generating $300 million in revenue and creating over 2,500 jobs with approximately $100 million in labor income. Attendance is limited to 45,000 people a day and tickets must be purchased in advance at ocfair.com. In 2021, 16 of 23 days of the fair were sold out! In addition to hosting the highly anticipated annual OC Fair and a STEAM education event Imaginology, the Orange County Fair and Event Center hosts 150 year-round events, including concerts at the Pacific Amphitheatre, one of the top-rated concert venues in the country. The Council’s Chief Operating Officer, Natalie Rubalcava, is a Governor-appointed member of the OC Fair Board of Directors and served as Chair of the Board in 2021 when the annual fair successfully retuned after being canceled in 2020 due to Covid.
