Volume 25 | January 2021
Happy New Year, Caswell!

Welcome to the new year and to a new look for the e-newsletters!

We look forward to an exciting 2021 and to servicing our business community here in Caswell. When there is enough content for two separate newsletters in a month, there will be a separate CHAMBER Matters and a CASWELL Matters as in the past. In months when there is not ample content for two, there will be a combined newsletter similar to this one that will go out mid month.

As always, we welcome your input, announcements and content.
Please forward to us as soon as you have it and we will include it as best we can.
Thank you for your ongoing support!

Upcoming Events

At the January meeting of the Caswell County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors meeting later this month, the new board of director members will be appointed. We look forward to a new year and will introduce the Chamber community to our board throughout the year once they are installed.
Service Spotlight
Disinfectant Fogger Available

In partnership with the Caswell County Health Department, the Chamber is able to coordinate the use of a fogger and the disinfectant for the sanitization of your office facility. Thank you to the community for your cooperation and flexibility as we have been working together to make sure everyone gets serviced as needed. Contact us to reserve the equipment.
Vaccination Next Phase: Businesses
Local area health departments are currently focusing on essential businesses with employees who work within 6 feet of each other/customers and who cannot work remotely.

Please watch your email for notification from the health department regarding this so that you will be informed as to how to protect your employees, customers and business/organizations.

Questions call 336-694-4129.

Thank you!

The Yanceyville Lights Committee, the Caswell County Historic Association, the Town of Yanceyville, Caswell County and the Chamber all say, 'Thank you!' for making the Caswell County 'Be the Light' event a success. We salute the businesses, organizations and individuals for your support of the community during this past holiday season!

A History of Compassion

You may have noticed that there is a different name circulating around town...Compassion Health Care. It is actually the new umbrella name for Caswell’s own, Caswell Family Medical Center.

Not only has the team at Caswell Family Medical Center been very busy working to provide quality health care services to our community but they have also been diligently building a medical practice for patients in neighboring Rockingham County at their Eden location, the James Austin Health Center. It opened in 2019 and is celebrating its first year anniversary this month. Strengthening Our Community For Caswell's Youth

Families and educators in Caswell County have been balancing remote learning with work schedules, internet access issues, and countless other challenges. Most all of them could use a helping hand so a number of community partners are working to help. READ MORE to:

  • Find public and student internet access offered by community partners
  • Find free, local tutoring provided by community partners
  • Connect with others who want to create a nurturing, healthy community for our children by registering HERE for the monthly Healthy Spaces - Youth Opportunities Conversations.
You are invited to join us for a morning dedicated to RECONNECTING and RECHARGING as we continue working together to improve the health and well-being of our community.

We will certainly miss breaking bread with our community partners during this annual gathering of the Caswell Chapter of The Heath Collaborative but we hope an interactive agenda, great conversations, and a few very special gifts will give us all a sense of connection.

This event is free but space is limited so please REGISTER early!
Farmer's Market 2021

It's time to start planning for this year's market! Since it's not yet safe for us to meet in person, the business we usually address at the annual vendors' meeting will be addressed via emails.

Like last year, CCLFC will not erect the big white tent and vendors will provide their own.  We will follow CDC recommendations, whatever they are during the market season. To participate or for more information contact us.

Thank you to our 2021 sponsors!
