The research team at Ryerson University launched an online survey to examine the psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on academic motivation among undergraduate university students in Canada.
This project would shed light on our understanding of the psychological experiences of undergraduate students amidst the pandemic and inform relevant policies and programs to best support students.
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes.
Participants will have the option to be entered into a draw for prizes of Amazon gift cards including 5 first prizes ($100); 8 second prizes ($50); 15 third prizes ($20); and 30 fourth prizes ($10).

Book an academic skills appointment to get help with building a study plan, improve on time management, develop more efficient study habits, and reduce academic stress!

Write Nights
Undergrads or grad students can join writing pros at Write Nights to work on a different sentence-level writing topic every week throughout the semester.

OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN RESEARCH STUDY @ SKHS

Research opportunity from a lab in the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies at Queen’s
Who?
Healthy, non-smoking women between 18-30 years old (who are recreationally active). Exclusion criteria includes regular cigarette smoking (including individuals who quit smoking less than 6 months ago), high/low blood pressure, existing cardiovascular or metabolic disorders, taking medications that have cardiovascular effects, being an endurance athlete who has trained in the past 3 months, and being allergic to milk products, eggs, artificial flavours/colours, and artificial sweeteners.
What?
An ultrasound study to assess the effect of fat and sugar consumption on forearm blood flow
How long?
One 35 minute screening session and three 3 hour experimental visits
How much?
Participants will receive a $40 gift certificate for each experimental visit that is attended (maximum $120)
Where?
School of Kinesiology and Health Studies Cardiovascular Stress Response Laboratory (28 Division Street)
