FOCUS ON THE PARKS SERIES

STARTS TOMORROW AT VILLAGE GREENS!

Hackberry Putt-Putt Open begins April 6 and goes throughout the month of April. Join us at the Village Greens for Not Just Q Food Truck tomorrow, April 6th from 5:00pm - 7:00 pm and instructions on how to participate in the Open! Putter Pete has been giving tips on Nextdoor and the Hackberry Facebook page on strategies for playing the holes so if you want to up your game tune into him.

April 22 you will find us at McKee Park which will serve as our base for a Poker Run. Mark your calendars to join us 3:00-5:00 pm. More info to come as we work through details.

We will be joining forces with the Summer Food Truck Series enjoying Cousins Main Lobster dinner under the gazebo at Southern Oak Park and playing Shuffleboard on May 4 from 5:00-7:00 pm. Bring your dinner, beverages and come join us. No shuffleboard experience necessary!

FOOD TRUCK TOMORROW AT VILLAGE GREENS PARK ON SUGAR MAPLE 5PM - 7PM

Our Summer Food Truck Series is starting in just a few weeks (May 4), but we have a fun pop up this week! Not Just Q will be here Thursday from 5-7. They will NOT be parked in the usual location on Southern Oak but rather on Sugar Maple next to the Village Greens mini golf park. Come out and find out more about the Hackberry Creek Putt-Putt Open and enjoy some Q.

EASTER EVENT

SAVE THE DATE - APRIL 8TH

On April 8th from 12PM-2PM Hackberry Creek Country Club will be hosting the Easter egg hunt this year on the lawn in between the swimming pool and the club. They will provide a bounce house along with hamburger and hot dogs for sale, along with a satellite bar for drink purchases.


Kroger is donating stuffed eggs again this year for the Easter Egg hunt! We will also be taking Monetary, food and toy donations for the D/FW Humane Society this year. 


The DFW Humane society will be bring some of their furry friends that will be available for adoption that day! We are also planning to have a face painter and balloon artist there as well!

WOMENS' CLUB APRIL EVENT - APRIL 18TH

Now that Spring is here, we need to start preparing for SUMMER!

 

Our own Hackberry Creek resident, Dr. Sandeep Gupta, an ER Physician will be discussing and providing tips on dealing with and preventing summer emergencies.

 

Come get at least six safety tips for summer and how to handle those summer fun or other emergencies.

THE TASTE OF HACKBERRY IS BACK

 

Be sure to mark your calendars for The Taste of Hackberry—our village’s favorite street party — for Saturday, April 29 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Event leaders Joan Davis, Meryl Kearns, Deborah Cunion and their team of volunteers are busy planning the event, which will include a wide assortment of food trucks, a live band, and games and entertainment for children and adults. Feel free to bring your own food and beverages if you prefer. ‘The Taste’ is always a special way to spend time with old friends, or start new friendships as you meet and get to know other neighbors. More details will be available in the coming weeks, but please save the date! Please remember, this is a private event for Hackberry Creek residents only.

Under the direction of the Village Manager, the Administrative Coordinator works with homeowners to provide new homeowner orientations, vehicle registrations, membership support, processes new vendor applications, invoices, and provides the onsite team and Board of Directors with support with all facets of Hackberry Creek operations.

The Security Captain at Hackberry Creek is tasked with the daily oversight of Gate Guard and Security operations and is responsible for scheduling and staffing all guard houses, ensuring security protocols are followed at all times. The Security Captain also monitors vehicular traffic and speeds throughout the community, issuing citations as needed and works hand-in-hand with the onsite team to ensure all residents, guest, contractors and other personnel have been appropriately screened before being granted access to the community.
