Evening to [Re]Build Highlights
Thank you to everyone who supported and attended our inaugural Evening to [Re]Build event at the offices of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP. Together we were able to raise over $26,000 for Rebuilding Together Montgomery County! Your continued support to RTMC allows us to improve the lives of low-income homeowners in our area. Without your help, our work would not be possible. We look forward to next year's event and hope to see you there!

SILENT AUCTION ITEM STILL AVAILABLE: We have (4) premium Washington Nationals tickets available for sale. This also includes a parking pass in the Geico garage that is attached to the park. The tickets are for this Friday's game (6/22) against the Philadelphia Phillies at 7:05 PM. Tickets are located in section 128, row R along the first baseline and behind the Nationals dugout. Click here to see the view from the seats. The tickets retail for over $400, but we are selling them to the first person who replies to this email for $200. 
Summer Safety Grilling Tips
With Memorial Day behind us, summer is in full swing! Warmer temperatures typically means more time is being spent outdoors and families are enjoying meals out on their deck or patio. Before you invite everyone over for a Saturday barbecue, make sure your are prepared by following these 10 tips for a safe summer barbecue!

DO:

1. Keep your grill at least 10 feet away from your house.

2. Clean your grill regularly.

3. Check for gas leaks.

4. Keep decorations away from your grill. 

5. Keep a spray bottle of water handy. 

6. Keep a fire extinguisher within a couple steps of your grill. Make sure you know how to use it!

 

Don't:

7. Turn on the gas while your grill lid is closed

8. Leave a grill unattended.

9. Overload your grill with food.

10. Use a grill indoors.
