Lets Go Fly a Kite
When was the last time you flew a kite or had a belly laugh or just had fun? When we start taking life too seriously that is when the hardships begin. Wouldn’t you rather be accused of enjoying life way too much? When we were young, we were soft and supple and as we get older, we get brittle and hard. This is not just physical but it is also mental and spiritual. If you keep the softness and suppleness of a child and remember to laugh and play, there will be less stress on all three levels. When the laughter goes that's when the sorrows begin.

Sometimes it seems that we have too many things that we have to do and two little things that we want to do. Imagine if we could switch that up. The best way of letting go is not to hold on in the first place. Not holding on is seeing the river flowing naturally and riding upon its waves.

Imagine for a moment that we are visitors in life with just a few moments to spare. Can you not make this moment full of joy that will last a lifetime?

Tai Chi is a moving meditation that lets you experience the joy of not holding on. It restores the childlike freedom of softness and suppleness. You can experience the joy and beauty of feeling the wind as it caresses you and the Earth as it cradles you as you do the movements of Tai Chi. The path to freedom is yours as you perform summertime Tai Chi. As each breath is taken you will feel elated as you float along the path of contentment as if being lifted from the Earth.

Joy is in the moment
If you look for it in another time you will not find it

If you try to chase a thought
You will not catch it
Leave it alone and it will come
