Safety Protocols Update
A Message from Fr. Doug
Dear Friends in Christ,

Over the past several months, we watched as COVID-19 infection rates and hospitalizations rose dramatically in our local area, which resulted in a tightening of our pandemic safety protocols at Good Shepherd. In recent weeks, these numbers have consistently fallen and we now feel it is safe to loosen some of the current restrictions. Beginning today, November 1, all fully vaccinated individuals will no longer be required to wear a mask on campus. However, all unvaccinated individuals are required to wear a mask for their own protection and that of others. This policy will be effective campus wide and will include Pennies for Heaven and all other pre-approved small group gatherings.

We will be closely monitoring the situation and continue to be in contact with local health officials and the leaders of our neighboring Episcopal congregations. We are asking everyone to be vigilant in doing everything we can to help mitigate the spread of this virus. If you able to get vaccinated, or are eligible to get a vaccine booster, we encourage you do so, and to take all necessary precautions to safeguard yourself and those around you. Remember, as followers of Jesus, we are called to love our neighbor and to protect the most vulnerable among us.

Faithfully in Christ,
Doug+
