Mission:
United by faith and service,
St. Anthony of Padua School community forms knowledgeable students who are moral and courageous Catholic leaders.
  • Wellness Committee - Rebecca Podbregar, one our school board members is reviewing our School Wellness Policy and looking to form a Wellness Committee that will include parents and staff members. We are looking for five committed parents to serve on the committee. Please send your name to [email protected] if you are interested or would like more information. If we receive more than five interested individuals, names will be randomly selected. The committee will begin meeting virtually AFTER Christmas.
  • Our survey for Strategic Planning will remain open until Thanksgiving. Thank you to those who have already completed it. Please take a moment if you have not already to provide your input. The survey can be accessed here.
  • HEALTH DEPARTMENT TOOLKIT: The Health Department continues to update the School Toolkit. All parents are encouraged to review these updates here (as of 11/13/20). If a household member is waiting on results from a Covid-19 test, students should not attend school until the test results come back negative. If testing comes back positive, students must quarantine while the positive member is in isolation AND for 14 days after the last exposure to the member with Covid-19 or cleared by the health department.
  • GoGuardian Software - This software was recently installed on our school issued devices. With GoGuardian we are able to better manage our student Gmail accounts and software. It will also allow teachers to better monitor student internet use and ensure that our devices are being used appropriately. The internet opens many doors everyday, but we want to ensure that the content being accessed always aligns with our mission. Administration and teachers continue to be in trained in how to use Go Guardian. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
  • Christmas Program - Our Christmas program will look different this year. Students will be practicing songs for a Christmas sing along following school Masses the week before our Christmas break. Both Masses will be livestreamed for parents to join in from home.

Tips to Have a Healthy Thanksgiving!
Next week, we will celebrate Thanksgiving week and reflect on all of the blessings in our lives. Likely this celebration will take place over a shared feast with family and friends.
Trivia: Can you think of a vegetable that people often have as their holiday dessert?
Answer: Pumpkin!

Your meal can feature other great-tasting fall veggies like sweet potatoes and orange or yellow squashes. Another big component of the meal is often turkey, which is a lean meat if you don’t eat the skin! If your family/guests are hungry and the meal isn’t quite ready, cut up some fruits and veggies for them to munch on. Offering these foods when children are hungry is a great way to increase their acceptance of them. Have a happy and healthy holiday and don’t forget to add some physical activity into the long weekend!
