Moving Forward

There are seasons (and sometimes entire years) when it seems like nothing is happening, everything is standing still, and no growth is going on. Then all of a sudden, BOOM! Everything starts happening at once- sort of like the chubby child that is the shortest in their classroom in the 8th grade but shows up for the first day of high school and no one recognizes him because he is as tall and skinny as a giraffe. Last month was a slow month and this month is one of those in which it seems like EVERYTHING is happening at once. The slow months are so, so important in helping keep us sane and healthy during the busy ones.
JESUS REVOLUTION

This month our church hosted a large group of 65 young adults from an evangelistic organization based in Norway called "Jesus Revolution". They have been on tour throughout Europe with their pastor, band, and hip-hop dance group for the past month putting on evangelistic events for teens and students. We rented an auditorium at our local Cinema that seats 200 and had 28 come forward to receive Christ. Many were prayed for to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and healing. This was probably one of the greatest responses I've ever seen among teens and students here in Croatia and our teens are still talking about it. Please continue to pray with us for these young people as we follow up with them over the next month.
WATER BAPTISM

On May 1st we held our first water baptism of the year. As is our tradition, our entire church took a day trip to the countryside for a time of fellowship to celebrate. It was wonderful to see these four women publically confessing their commitment to follow Christ for the rest of their lives. One of the women received news of an emergency at home and had to turn back. She called us to let us know that she wasn't going to be able to make it to the baptism that day. Completely disappointed, she arrived home to take care of the emergency and began to pray. She made some phone calls, got her situation taken care of and said to herself, "What point is there in staying home?" She quickly found a ride, and made it in time to be baptized after all! I love hearing stories of those who have decided to not let anything stand in the way of pushing toward God and everything He has for them!

>God continues to provide for every need we have each month.
MARKETPLACE TRANSFORMATION

This month marks our 6th Marketplace Transformation conference for businessmen and entrepreneurs. It is a place where Christian businessmen can meet, encourage each other, learn how to share their faith in the marketplace, and do business with integrity.

ORU & CFNI

This month we will be hosting two teams from two wonderful Christian Colleges: Oral Roberts University and Christ for the Nations Institute. The students from these colleges will be serving in various facets of ministry in Varaždin and Zagreb, hosting concerts, preaching, working with children and teens, preparing the campground for our kid's camp, and helping out at one of the rehab centers. We love hosting these student groups because it gives these young people a chance to step out in faith and use their God-given gifts to bless others. Our teens and students look forward to their visits each year.

Thank you so much for your prayer and support of our ministry each month. It is because of your support (financial and pray-wise) that we are able to do what we do. We are so thankful for your faithfulness; may the Lord bless you and make his face shine upon you this month!
