NEW POPCORN STOREFRONT SELLING SYSTEM BEING LAUNCHED!
Spend less time booking, and more time selling, with our new Storefront Booking System for Units.

Dan Beard Council is preparing to provide a brand-new storefront booking system in 2021 that will aim to expand available storefront opportunities for your unit and enhance the system as a whole. We will be contacting storefronts around greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky on behalf of Scouting to secure them in advance. 

You will then be able to login and claim storefront shifts which will automatically be uploaded to your Popcorn Unit Leader Portal. This service will allow for more storefront hours, less work for you trying to secure storefronts, and help to prevent double booking. As a kernel, all you will need to do is sign in, sign up, and sell!

More details on storefronts will be released in the coming weeks, but here’s an overview of what you can expect from our new storefront process!

  • View available storefronts through the Popcorn Leader Portal. See which storefront locations, dates and times work best for your unit.

  • Claim an available storefront through the Popcorn Leader portal. Storefront Booking opens in July and will follow a round robin process. The final store list and claiming process will be detailed in advance. You will also receive an email alert letting you know when storefront booking is beginning if your unit is registered.

  • When you claim a storefront booth, the storefront day and shift schedule will be added to the Popcorn Unit Leader Portal for you. Your Scouts will be able to sign up for shifts in the Trail’s End App.

Find out which storefronts we are currently attempting to book by clicking below to access a list for your district. Please do not contact the stores included on this list, as we will be working to book directly with the stores. Once all stores are booked, the final list of available stores, dates, and times will be released no later than July 16. If we’re unable to secure time at a location on the storefront list, that store will not be included in the final list. After that point, your unit may reach out to these stores directly with the exception of Kroger and Bass Pro Shop.
Already have time booked at one of the storefronts listed?
Let us know by completing our Storefront Verification form. We will verify this with the store and contact you to lock in the shifts. 

Do you traditionally sell at a store that is not on our Storefront list?
No problem! You can continue to book time with that store as you normally would.
POPCORN ENROLLMENT IS OPEN

Unit enrollment for the 2021 Popcorn Sale is currently open. Our committee has been meeting for several months and have some great things planned for this year's sale. Be sure to enroll your unit now so that you get important sale details about storefront sign-up opportunities and more. Your enrollment now helps us to plan and make the sale great for everyone!
POPCORN RALLY DATES ARE SET
EARN 3% BONUS COMMISSION FOR YOUR UNIT

After you enroll your unit, be sure to RSVP for one of the Popcorn Rallies. This year we will hold 4 in-person Popcorn Rallies that can be spaced out and will be offered throughout the council at a convenient location. These rallies will still qualify your unit for bonus commission, so please be sure to register and attend. 

If you are a new kernel, we highly suggest that you also click to attend the new kernel orientation session that takes place beforehand during the registration process.
