Q&A With Drew Shechtman

Drew Shechtman is a digital senior at Dreyfoos. Throughout his time at school, his artwork has been displayed at both the Armory Art Center and Norton Museum Gallery. He was also awarded a silver and gold key at the regional Scholastic Art & Writing Awards this year. 

"The teachers [at Dreyfoos] and the assignments we had to do have been really good in preparing us for college," says Shechtman.

Rebecca Divine: First Graduating Class Reminiscence

Alumna Rebecca Divine, a member of (formerly named) School of the Arts’ first graduating class (1994), has since gone on to a successful career as the Executive Director of the Admirals Cove Foundation, but she still looks back on her time at SOA as “the most amazing experience ever.”

“It was a once in a lifetime experience,” said Divine.

Brandon Levine: Passionate Investment

Brandon Levine, Dreyfoos music major alum class of ’02, and Senior Investment & Portfolio Specialist established the Sound Wealth Management Group Art Area Grants with his employer. 

“I'm hoping that these funds help so that no student has to then go and worry about, ‘Well, I gotta go work a job after school, I don't have time to focus on my arts or my academics’, " says Levine.
