Beloveds,
How hard is it for you to listen to the voice within you? Can you hear your own heart’s desires, your own soul, in the midst of all the busyness of life? This pandemic certainly has been an opportunity to go within and hear that voice more clearly.
Here’s the challenge – even when we are “alone” with nothing to do, we are programmed to come up with distractions. We FIND things to do, things to worry about, things to distract us like Netflix or that stack of books that’s been sitting there. I don’t think my house has been so clean, or my family so often called in a long time. I’ve spent lots of time on Zoom and on Facebook checking in with other people. This month, I am committed to checking in with my own soul. I am committed to practicing the Presence of the Divine, to staying with the silence until I can hear that still, small voice that everyone talks about.
I was asked recently to ponder this question: What is it that you know you need to do to practice excellent Self (or self) care? I invite you to join me in journaling about that question. We have the opportunity to start over now. We have a unique opportunity to create a new world. As always, it starts from within. I invite you to join me in creating the INNER world that works, so that we may see it all around us.

Hello and Blessings to all.
Even though our Center is closed to services, it continues to operate. Our parking lot continues under construction, our wonderful employees continue to get paid, our practitioners are conducting on-line classes, we are doing a live Facebook virtual Sunday Service and our social media continues to grow. Obviously, times and conditions have changed and will continue changing, but we at CSLP know that all is Good and our lives will continue to improve.
Along this line, I would like to share with you a personal story that started at the end of February. Sandy and I were having a nice Thursday at home. After dinner we played some games and watched a little TV. Around 9pm we took the dogs outside for the nightly stroll than we started getting ready for bed. I was in the bathroom when my left hand and arm started tingling, my left foot started going numb and I was losing my balance. I hand walked along the wall into the bedroom where Sandy noticed me struggling. After a short time, we decided to go to the hospital, but I could not stand, so we called 911. I spent until Saturday morning in Yavapai Hospital where I had every test imaginable and it was determined that probably my condition was caused by a aortic heart valve that was only operating at about 20 to 30 percent. How quick life can change. I left the hospital with a heart monitor.
The following week I saw my cardiologist and he changed my medication and gave me the name of a surgeon here in Prescott. I called her only to find out that she was going on vacation and was scheduling appointments in 7 weeks. I contacted my cardiologist and got a referral in Phoenix, which Sandy and I visited on Friday, March 13 and had a 3-D CT scan at St. Joseph Hospital. On Monday I called his office only to find out his office was closing for 3 weeks. We got an idea that because of COVID-19 maybe the Prescott surgeon cancelled her vacation and after calling we had an appointment for the following Monday March 23. On the Friday prior, she called our house and we talked about my condition and she looked at all the recent hospital records. It was her conclusion that I needed open heart surgery due to the plaque on my aortic heart valve and the chance of a major stroke during surgery. I told her about my visit to the surgeon in Phoenix and that I really did not want another open-heart surgery. I told her that there had to be another alternative and asked if she could speak to the surgeon in Phoenix, who luckily was a friend of hers. Later that day I received a call from St. Joseph Hospital, and I was told that they knew of my visit and that all elective surgeries have been cancelled. On that Monday March 23, I had my virtual visit with her and she informed me that she and the surgeon in Phoenix had worked out a procedure where a filter could be placed in my cardioid artery and a Tavr could be installed in my aortic valve. Tuesday I got a call from the same lady at St. Joseph Hospital informing me that if I came in on Wednesday March 25, I would have the surgery on Thursday and go home on March 27.
I’m only telling this story because of all the negative and fearful news surrounding us today. I want you all to know that there is still a lot of Good. Whether this was because of my persistence and Knowing, because of the great doctors who put in extra effort for me and a hospital that went beyond what they had been directed to do, or was it the wonderful prayers that where coming my way. Was it Divine intervention or a Miracle? I don’t understand how things work, but I Know that things work if we Treat and Move our Feet. I know that we create our Good with the Help of God. I also know that you can do this too, and much more. Just Know and Believe.
Blessing to all,
Tom Kimmerle

MY HEART TELLS ME
The past few weeks many of us have been listening to our hearts on a moment to moment basis. My heart tells me: "THIS, TOO, WILL PASS! "
My heart also says: "ALL GOOD THINGS ARE POSSIBLE."
My heart has been conditioned by using affirmations on a daily basis; which I offer some for your use:
I HAND MY LIFE AND AFFAIRS OVER TO DIVINE INTELLIGENCE, THE POWER WITHIN ME THAT KNOWS HOW TO DO EVERYTHING
I ACCEPT MY GOOD; I ACCEPT AS MINE ALL THAT IS NEEDED TO MAKE MY LIFE A JOYOUS EXPERIENCE
I AM THIS DAY ONE WITH THE INDWELLING DIVINITY AND CO-EXIST WITH ALL IN THIS ONENESS
NEW IDEAS ARE COMING TO ME, NEW WAYS OF DOING THINGS; JOYOUS THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN TO US
NOTHING IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE
I CHOOSE TO ENJOY THIS DAY TO THE FULLEST; AND TO LAUGH EVERY OPPORTUNITY
THERE IS ONE LIFE, THAT LIFE IS GOD'S LIFE, THAT LIFE IS PERFECT; THAT LIFE IS MY LIFE NOW
In addition to affirmations, I meditate daily on my heart's desire; I accept my good by listening to my heart, and accepting guidance.

Sweet song of the Silence, forever singing in my heart!
Words cannot express, the tongue cannot tell;
Only the heart knows the songs which were never sung, the music which was never written.
I have heard that great Harmony and felt that great Presence.
I have listened to the Silence; and in the deep places of Life,
I have stood naked and receptive to Thy songs and they have entered my soul.
I am lost in the mighty depths of Thy inner calm and peace

Heart Rides is still going strong as we practice social distancing during the COVID19. We have created the "CSLP Personal Parade”. What is that you ask? It is 4-6 CSLP members driving their own vehicles and going by your home. You can sit on your front porch, look out your window or sit in your driveway. We will drive by and say positive things to lift up your spirits. Want to be involved as a driver or a recipient? Call Nina Rochette at (207) 841-7505. This Parade will be done on a Saturday (during the day) or a Sunday afternoon.
Thank you,
Nina Rochette

The month of March, 2020 presented new challenges to the Visitation team. The first two weeks were basically, business as usual. However, the social distancing, and closing of Retirement homes, and hospital to visitors the team relied on telephone calls to make visits.
During the month of March, 2020, 10 team members reported visiting (in person or telephone) 39 separate individuals during the month; A total of 87 visits were made. The team reported Grocery shopping 4 times for 3 individuals. Three team members provided meals for up to 30 people to CCJ to feed the homeless. In addition, the team reported participating in two (2) Virtual Prayer Circle for individuals who were undergoing a medical procedure, and a final exam.
Would you like a visit, telephone visit, telephone call, Prayer Circle or Virtual Prayer Circle by the Visitation Team for yourself or another? A Virtual Prayer Circle is performed when it is impractical to be at the hospital. A Virtual Prayer Circle is where each member goes into prayer at a designated time, wherever they are, for an individual undergoing a medical procedure. If this is for you, please contact the Pastoral Care Coordinator, David Sharer RScP at (928) 771 2791. The team loves to serve by making visits and praying with you.
Love & Light,
David Sharer, RScP

ERNEST HOLMES QUOTE
"When one has sensed this inner unity in small moments of his waiting hour, he finds that the
"aim of these moments, is to make daylight shine through him."
The light of Spirit will henceforth radiate through his every act. He is twice born. All things take on a new meaning. Life has a greater significance. His heart now knows that which his intellect could never explain."
