Movie, TV Viewership Is Booming as Screen Entertainment Spending Declines, NPD Says

According to new data from The NPD Group, time spent watching TV and movies in the U.S. rose 4% in the first half of this year. Viewing hours spent between January and June accounted for nearly 30% of the time that U.S. families spent entertaining themselves, but overall consumer spending on screen-based entertainment fell 1%. Ravensburger North America Halts Orders Amid Global Supply Chain Crisis

A letter sent to retailers by Ravensburger North America CEO Filip Franke states that the maker of puzzles, games, science kits, and other products will halt acceptance of orders for the foreseeable future beginning tomorrow. Amazon Unwraps 2021 ‘Toys We Love List,’ Holiday Pop Up Shops

Amazon is offering more than 70 exclusive toys and games this holiday season and will open Amazon Pop Up stores in select markets. Families will have a chance to check out toys from Amazon’s Toys We Love List in person.
