Grandparents'/Grandfriends' Day

What an incredible day we had yesterday with all of our Grandparents'/Grandfriends' on campus. It was a picture-perfect day and it was so nice to see so many come to celebrate the day. From the prayer service to our incredible performances, the Art Walk showcasing students' artwork to all of the donations we received for St. Vincent dePaul and
our Angel Pantry it could not have been more perfect!
Thank you to everyone who helped with this celebration.
Mrs. Jaramillo's Theology class participated in Cross Catholic Outreach's Boxes of Joy project. Over the span of 3 weeks, students and their families collected various items such as small toys, clothes, hygiene products, and school supplies into 129 shoe boxes. These boxes will be delivered to impoverished children around the world. Mrs. Jaramillo would like to thank all of the families for supporting this program and many thanks to Fr. Bob for blessing the boxes so they are sent with extra joy and love from the students. These are true kids and families for others!

This month the Counselor's Corner will focus on the benefits of gratitude and tips on how to cultivate a grateful heart.

What if I told you the secret to having more friends, better physical and mental health, better sleep, improved self-esteem, and mental toughness? The secret sauce is not a new pillow, luxurious sheets, designer clothes, or a best-selling self-help book. The key to all these things is simply feeling grateful for what you already have. In the last two weeks in the Counselor's Corner, you have found ideas on how to foster a grateful heart. This week's article includes 7 scientifically proven reasons why you should!

If you missed the 8th-grade performance of Dear Edwina we have included the video of the play on our Youtube Channel. Thank again to everyone who helped with the play. The 8th grade class did a fantastic job.
