VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR GRADUATION EVENTS

Hey, IS Families, it's time to pay it forward to the Class of 2022! Our seniors are graduating, and we need volunteers from all classes to help make it happen. Chaperones and Volunteers:
We still need volunteers and chaperones for many of the graduation events. Click here to sign up!

Cookies and Desserts:
It is IS tradition to serve cookies and desserts at the receptions following Senior Celebration and Commencement. Underclass families are asked to donate these treats. Please click here to sign up

Gift Cards:
We are collecting unused gift cards in any amount for prizes at the Grad Party. If you have any you can donate, please drop them off in the envelope in the main office.

We truly appreciate all your support in giving the Class of 2022 an amazing send-off! Questions? Email Katie Artz.

SESSION IDEAS & INSTRUCTORS NEEDED FOR HIGH SCHOOL RETREAT

Thursday, September 8

We’re heading back to Warm Beach Camp for High School Retreat! We are looking for community connections to help us explore forms of cultural expression and examine challenges facing societies in the Middle East and North Africa. [The academic content follows a four-year cycle of regions.] If you have ideas, expertise, and a willingness to work with our high school students for one day, or you know of exceptional experts who might be willing to lead a session, please contact us. Session topics can include dance, sports, cultural traditions, arts (painting, literature, theater, etc.), and crafts (making things), as well as an exploration of cultural, economic, political, social, or environmental challenges in the region. All sessions are about 45 minutes and repeat 6 times on Thursday, Sept. 8. An IS teacher will assist. Students and chaperones stay overnight and return to school Friday, Sept. 9. It’s a great way to share your culture and get involved! Please email IS Teachers, Tamara Truax or Lee Holt, if you can help or if you have questions.
