Lovejoy High School News
A Message from the Principal
September 7, 2021

Parents and Guardians,

I hope you and your student enjoyed the holiday weekend. I also hope it was a welcome break after the busyness of the first three weeks of school.

A special thanks to our parents who pick up their student after school. Our change to the pickup pattern has successfully moved our car line off of Estates Parkway and in a much safer place for all our drivers. We will continue making a few tweaks in the coming days to try and find the most efficient and safest way to handle dismissal. As a reminder, please do not try to pick your student up in the front parking lot at school dismissal. We want to keep that area safe and clear with only our bus riders.

Next week is Homecoming and we are looking forward to a fun week of festivities. Information about Homecoming as well as other events can be found below.

Have a great week!

Sincerely,
Chris Mayfield
Principal
Lovejoy High School
