NIA has signed on to be a Better Climate Challenge Ally, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) initiative to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across U.S. buildings and industrial plants. Allies work alongside the DOE to identify and support organizations interested in becoming Better Climate Challenge Partners and reducing GHG emissions across their U.S. building and plant portfolios. In addition to NIA, more than 20 organizations have joined the challenge as allies, including ASHRAE, the U.S. Green Building Council, and the Association of Energy Engineers.

NIA is featuring different recycling efforts (such as glass and insulation) and the green aspects of our industry in an upcoming issue of Insulation Outlook magazine.
