After an incredible amount of hard work, community support, and collaboration between a wide variety of partners, the Brush Creek Valley Ranch & Open Space is officially open to the public. This open space, owned by Eagle County and protected by a conservation easement held by EVLT, doesn't just provide outstanding recreation access - it also protects critical wildlife habitat and a working ranch. Photography is one of the most powerful tools in the conservation process. It's a key ingredient in galvanizing our community to protect the places that we all love and depend on. Photography by Todd Winslow Pierce has contributed to the success of recent landmark conservation projects like Sweetwater Lake and the Brush Creek Valley Ranch and Open Space. That’s why we're excited for the unveiling of Eagle Valley Wild, a non-profit enterprise that Todd founded with his partner Kate Morris that creates professional quality images and video content specifically for conservation-related organizations like EVLT, free of charge. 2020 is the year of the picnic, and EVLT's first ever Farm to Fork Picnic was a big success thanks to our incredible partners, supporters, and picnic enthusiasts. The event, which replaced EVLT's annual Farm to Fork gala, helped raise funds to move local conservation projects forward during a tough year for our community. We're only $80,000 short of our pre-COVID Farm to Fork fundraising goal - will you raise your paddle to help our team close the gap?
