Numbers are important in measuring the effectiveness of so many endeavors. Stall, rotate, cruise, best glide, temperatures, pressures, runway length, and W&B are a few obvious examples for aviators.
Numbers can also help us measure our focus on proficiency and the value of our aviation safety education work. We measure the success of our alliance with industry leaders using numbers as well.
We are happy to report that through the direct efforts of the WINGS Industry Network’s collaboration with members and vendors we are making a significant difference.
Our five-year focus on creating FAA WINGS Courses to present best practices not only for pilots and maintenance technicians but also for an organization’s safety focus has single-handily produced these results.
